The Mirrors of the Living
Two voices, one current.
I believe that, in some way, we are levers for others.
That doesn’t take away our freedom — of course not.
We remain free to be ourselves, to follow our own path.
Still, I don’t think we ever live entirely for ourselves.
Our experiences can become lessons, warnings, or quiet lights that guide others along their way — a source of motivation, courage, or strength.
Others have helped us grow and move forward too.
Through books, testimonies, shared experiences, music, or even cinema, we sometimes find clues that help us strengthen our own lives.
We rise by lifting each other.
This poem was born in that same spirit of sharing — in collaboration with Tangled Words, whose lines beautifully expand the reflection.

A part of you lives in me.
A part of me burns in you.
I live for you — without distress,
You live for me — with tenderness.Your wisdom lights my way,
My scars in you replay.
No rule, no rigid line —
Just life, untamed, divine. We never live for self alone,
Each scar a truth we’ve grown.
To offer them is to softly save
Those still lost beneath the wave. One shared dream: to be free,
To live our truth, unashamedly.
None of us perfect, none complete,
Each carries the other’s heartbeat.I don’t know all — nor do you.
Without the others, I lose my view.
Your share of truth grounds me,
Guides my steps — my sanctuary. There’s oasis in your gaze
Undertow where we dive deep,
save a life meant to swim.
On the cliffs, rocks are worn.Only we can crack the code
of how to make the climb.
On the horizon, light falls down,
but the cliff pulls us up.And we hold the edge,
grasp of time lifts gritty layers.
Stand with hands intwined
until the world levels out.
Thank you for reading.
Remember : you live to lift others,
while others lift you too.
In saying that, I hope this poem has lifted something beautiful within you.
If it has, help it reach further — share it, leave a comment, a like.
Most of all, carry a piece of it with you. 🌙

I believe that people shape each other. Everything you have said or done has influenced and remained in someone's mind. I myself dare to say that I carry a part of everyone who has been in my life. And it is a fact that people change lives even with a single casual sentence without realizing it.
