I’ve always carried this quiet fear of success. Not failure—success. The weight that comes after, the expectations, the sense that once I’m seen, I have to keep being seen, keep performing, keep proving. In response to Imi’s prompt, I wrote a letter to that fear:

I let it speak. I didn’t try to silence it or outrun it. I just listened, gave it a place at the table, and acknowledged it. Sometimes moving forward isn’t about defeating fear, it’s about walking alongside it, letting it ride with you instead of holding the reins alone.

I'm still working toward putting my life back together. I've made progress, but there is still a ways for me to go before I achieve what I am working toward.
